Fun Flower Pot Photo Gifts
These are great gift ideas that will last forever - no watering and no wilting! - Sue Martin

This is an assortment of flower pot bouquets, made from a variety of craft supplies. The pots were all painted first, then the embellishments were added.
The flowers in the first one were purchased at Michaels. The container of pre-cut foam flowers cost $8 and there must be 150-200 flowers in the box. I used a 2" circle punch to cut out the photos, then glued them to the flowers. Wooden dowels are the stems, and an assortment of green ribbon was tied on the stems for the leaves. The orange polka dot around the top of the pot is also ribbon. "Get well soon" words are rub-on letters from Doodle Bug Designs. Glue the photos onto the flowers, the flowers onto the stems, and then tie and glue the ribbons onto the stems. Cut floral foam and press it inside the pot, then put glue on the wooden stems and insert into the foam. Glue spanish moss on top of the foam.
The balloon bouquet was a table centerpiece for my son's birthday party. It's made from wooden balloons purchased at Michaels for $.39 each. I painted them and glued them onto painted wooden dowels. I added ribbon and curled it. The pot was painted, filled with floral foam, and topped with a piece of a round styrofoam ball, to make it look like a cupcake. The dotted "sprinkles" are foam shapes from the box of flowers I used in the first project.
The lady bug is also a purchased wooden shape from Michaels that cost $.39. I painted it and the pot, along with a Popsicle stick for the stem. Add a photo and a personalized greeting, and give it to someone you love to brighten their day.
